Searches and reports are run from the Search tab, which is open by default when you open AssetWise Director. If you close it, you can open it again by selecting View > Search or by pressing <F3>.

Search results display in the lower portion of the Content pane. If you want, you can have the results of each search displayed in a new tab. Each row in the search results list represents an object. Among other things, you can double-click a row to open that object in the Content pane.
